Having good internet access to a modern hydro installation is essential. Being in a location without a 3G signal or access to a BT landline I thought it was worth looking into the possibility of satellite. I contacted Michael at Hydrocomm and by return received a detailed proposal for a suitable installation at a very competitive price. When the time came for commissioning of the turbine Michael installed the necessary equipment quickly and very professionally. The connection to the hydro control panel and system configuration was done quickly and without a problem and I was shown how to access the hydro website from a computer, tablet or smartphone from anywhere in the world with internet access. Michael also liaised with the turbine manufacturer to ensure they too had access for monitoring performance.

Hydrocomm are clearly specialists in providing communications for renewable energy schemes. The equipment and service they provide are both excellent. I would recommend anyone involved in this type of project to call Michael and let him take care of getting the system online.
